Why Buyers Choose Esentepe
Esentepe sits on the northern coast between Kyrenia and Iskele, perched on cliffs that drop down to the Mediterranean. The views here are some of the most spectacular on the island.
The area is centred around the Korineum Golf and Beach Resort, which features an 18 hole championship golf course. Around it, a number of residential developments have grown up, offering a mix of apartments and villas with sea views, mountain views, or both.
What makes Esentepe different is the feeling of space. It is not built up like Kyrenia or construction heavy like Iskele. The landscape is open, green (by Cyprus standards), and genuinely peaceful. You can hear birds, not traffic. For buyers who want to escape rather than socialise, this is the spot.
Prices are lower than central Kyrenia for comparable quality, and there is a growing wave of new developments targeting buyers who want modern amenities in a tranquil setting. The nearby village of Bahçeli offers similar appeal with even lower prices.

Esentepe Village
The original hilltop village. Small, traditional, and surrounded by olive groves. A handful of modern projects offer incredible value with unobstructed views. Quiet daily life with local bakeries and cafes.
Korineum Area
Surrounding the golf resort. The most developed part of Esentepe with several apartment complexes and villa projects. Good communal facilities and a more resort like feel. Popular with golfers and retirees.
Bahçeli
A neighbouring village to the west, even quieter than Esentepe itself. Dramatic cliff top locations with jaw dropping views. Several new developments are opening up here. Excellent value for what you get.
Tatlısu
East of Esentepe, sitting between the mountains and the coast. A growing number of projects with large plots and villa options. Very good value and close to both Kyrenia and Iskele.
